Unity Park

Unity Park
A New Gathering Place in the Heart of Downtown Cusseta

Unity Park is a beautiful new community space located on Broad Street in Downtown Cusseta, Georgia, at the corner of Broad Street and Wells Street. Created as a gift to the community, Unity Park is dedicated to the citizens of Chattahoochee County and designed to be a place where people can gather, reflect, celebrate, and enjoy time together.

This special park represents more than a physical space. It reflects community pride, local investment, and a shared commitment to preserving the heart of Cusseta while creating something meaningful for future generations.

About Unity Park

Unity Park was created on property purchased by Walter Miller. The site once contained condemned buildings that were beyond repair. Rather than leaving the corner unused, Mr. Miller transformed it into an attractive and welcoming public space for the community.

Today, Unity Park features:

  • Open green space
  • Concrete walkways with brick and paver borders
  • A large decorative brick wall
  • A fountain centerpiece
  • Evening lighting
  • A downtown setting ideal for gatherings, photos, and community events

Unity Park now serves as a new landmark in Downtown Cusseta and a symbol of local pride and unity.
